Experience of a destructive cyclone - Umphun
I live in a small village of South 24 parganas. The date was 20 May, 2020. On this day there was a forecast and of cyclone- Umphun. Our government had announced the approximate time of the cyclone. So, according to the time, I fell asleep after having lunch a little earlier than usual to see the nature's destruction in the afternoon. Then I woke up at around 3.30 pm and sat on the verandah. I saw that the storm had almost started. And with it there was light rain. As time went on, the destruction of nature continued to increase. The trees looked as if someone was trying to uproot them forcefully. Seeing the coconut trees, it seemed that a woman with open hair, someone was trying to throw her by holding neck on the ground. Hearing the sound of the wind, it seemed as if Mother Nature was screaming in anger. I took some photos and videos at that time.
